Red Hot Entertainment April 2012 Workshop with Carolyn McLeod this Wednesday.

How did your last casting go? Land the job? Why not?

Unlike other Red Hot workshops, Carolyn is keen to work on your cold reading skills and learn to lift the text off the page.

Carolyn McLeod, Casting Director.

The workshop will be hosted by casting director Carolyn McLeod, who has been casting for over 14 years. Recent feature projects include: The Liability, with Tim Roth and Peter Mullan, The Magnificent Eleven, Payback Season, The Woman in Black and psychological thriller Truth or Dare.

Carolyn spent four years as a Casting Director on The Bill and also cast 32 episodes of Power Rangers for Disney. Other TV work includes Monster Trilogy for Belgian TV, Witchville, shot on location in Beijing for SyFy Channel and Assassination Games starring Jean Claude Van Damme.

Most recently for TV, she cast A Princess for Christmas, a Hallmark Original movie with Roger Moore and Katie McGrath. She is currently in development on Beg, Borrow, Steal and The Lying, The Pitch and the Wardrobe with Miranda Gooch. She is also Associate Producer and Casting Director on The Return of Captain Nemo, a 3D feature project set to shoot in Autumn 2012. Hugh Bonneville, Hayley Atwell and David Morrissey are attached.

Congratulations to Beth Cooper, will be touring the UK in the Globe's production of Anne Boleyn as part of the ensemble. The tour opens on the 15th March at Cambridge Arts Theatre and runs to 5th May at Festival Theatre, Edinburgh.
